Here you will learn how to check each of my clients' LinkedIn inbox messages for new leads, mark "yeses" as Leads, and send out marketing messages to prospects who do not receive it.
If this is the first time you're tracking leads, please watch this before beginning: What Is A Lead
Make sure you are using a VPN set to Los Angeles
If you'd like to use IPVanish, follow these instructions for proper setup: VPN Setup
Restart all of the Machines before working. Then log into the first Machine to get started.
Open the first client’s Chrome user
Go to their LinkedIn Inbox
Open & read responses from the last 24 hours.
Make sure you re-mark any unread messages as unread before moving to the next message.
It would also be helpful to open Prospectin CRM and open the "Prospects" section.
Respond based on findings:
Outcome 1: If they say “yes” or otherwise indicate that they are interested:
Open prospect's profile in a new tab and keep going through messages
Tag prospect as a lead. (See video at 10:52 for the 3 ways to tag a lead.)
Important: Please read over the entire conversation thread to make sure they are in fact a lead.
Outcome 2: If they write a simple reply to the initial invite message, such as “thanks” or “sure”
Search them in the Prospects section and find out what messaging they came from.
Open Client Message Testing
Copy the correct message
Go back to the LinkedIn conversation and paste the message in.
Edit the name and remove anything that doesn’t make sense.
Send.
Exit tab.
Outcome 3: If prospect says “no” simply exit tab.
Outcome 4: If they ask a question, let the client answer it.
Mark conversation as “unread”
Exit the tab
Repeat this for each client in all Machines.
IMPORTANT: Before you exit a Machine, make sure to open each client's Chrome User and open up their LinkedIn page. Once they're all open, just leave them running. (Do not shut down.)
