Ulinc InMail/Group Campaign Setup

Objectives:

Here I’ll guide you through using Ulinc’s Group/InMail Hybrid campaign feature which allows you to boost outreach even more. Ulinc’s hybrid approach can send out messages directly to people who are in shared groups, as well as InMails to open profiles.


  1. You’ll need to join LinkedIn groups relevant to your target audience.
    1. Go to LinkedIn Home page > do a standard search with relevant keyword 
    2. Filter by groups > Join your niche’s groups
  2. Perform search in Sales Navigator including your group(s)
    1. You can easily click your audience from the Ulinc search section and then add the group filter to it within Sales Navigator
    2. Copy search URL
  3. Go to Ulinc > Search > Start New Search
    1. Select Connector Search (2nd and 3rd) 
    2. Select Group Search
    3. Name the search
    4. Paste the search URL
    5. Add search task
  4. Now go to Connector section
    1. Go to the campaign > Steps > InMail/Group
  5. Copy your messaging from the standard side
    1. We don’t need to send a connection request for this message, but you’ll need to add a subject line.
  6. Go back to Search - Once it’s completed, select the search > Add all new people to Connector Campaign > choose correct campaign > Add to Connector Campaign
  7. Double check the connector campaign is live, and you’re good to go!
